Minaret

Finally, we were able to catch an ascent of Minaret. At the very end of the season Robin Dahlberg made the fifth ascent of Richard Ekehed's mental testpiece from 1998.


To top things off Stefan Wulf made yet another impressive first ascent. This time the wall just to the left of Tor Line's second pitch fell to Stefan's fat fingers. A tempting line that tops out at the highest point of Häller. The first try was abortet due to heavy snowfall, but the day after the sun came out enabling Stefan to establish Jah Line. Of course we were able to get this on tape as well.
Stefan must now be considered the king of Häller, with three impressive FA's (Dreadline ≈E8, Masculine E9 and Jah Line). He has also repeated Savage Horse (E9), Minaret (E8), Rätt lätt (E7?) and Slackline (E6?).
